This role is based in Romania, either remote or hybrid depending on your location in Romania.

About the role:

YAVICA is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Developer with Microsoft Dynamics F&O experience to join our Client Service organization team.

In this role, you will act as a senior technical contributor, responsible for designing robust, scalable solutions across D365FO and Azure, with a strong emphasis on integration, security, and performance.

You will work closely with on‑shore and off‑shore colleagues, solution architects, and product owners to deliver enterprise‑grade solutions for the real estate vertical.

Key responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain advanced customizations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management using X++.

· Build extension‑based solutions following Microsoft best practices (no over‑layering).

· Design and implement integration architectures between D365FO and external systems.

· Develop and maintain batch jobs, async processes, and performance‑critical components.

· Ensure high solution quality through structured error handling, logging, and monitoring.

· Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and technical design discussions.

· Collaborate across distributed teams to ensure consistent, maintainable delivery.

Required technical skills

D365FO & X++

· Advanced X++ development including classes, tables, forms, data entities.

· Events, Chain of Command (CoC), and extensibility patterns.

Strong understanding of:

· Batch framework.

· Performance considerations (SQL usage, caching, async patterns).

· Debugging and troubleshooting in multiple environments.

Integration & APIs

· Strong experience designing and consuming APIs (REST/OData/custom services)

· Solid understanding of:

o Synchronous vs. asynchronous integrations.

o Event‑driven architectures.

o Data consistency and idempotency.

Security & authentication

· Hands‑on experience with: OAuth 2.0, tokens, secrets, and service principals.

· Secure integration patterns.

· Azure Key Vault and secret management.

· Service accounts and least‑privilege access models.

Error handling & reliability

· Proven ability to design for:

o Robust error handling and structured logging.

o Retry mechanisms and transient fault handling.

o Asynchronous messaging using queues and events.

Azure & DevOps

· Strong experience with Azure DevOps for:

o CI/CD pipelines.

o Branching strategies.

o Automated builds and deployments.

· Practical experience with Azure services, including: Azure Functions

o Logic Apps.

o Service Bus (queues, topics, subscriptions).

o Azure SQL.

o Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table).

Infrastructure as Code (nice to have)

o Experience with Terraform is a plus, but not required.

To succeed in the position, we imagine your skills to cover:

• 8+ years of developer experience on Microsoft Dynamics AX Finance applications/Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO).

• Mastering OO design and development in X++.

• Debugging in various environments.

• Utilizing the trace parser tool to cater for performance optimizations.

• Being familiar with SQL Server mgmt studio.

• ER modelling preferably using Visio.

• Experience with Agile delivery methods of desired /standard methodologies.
