About the role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Functional Consultant who combines strong functional expertise with a solid understanding of technical aspects. You will help customers get the most out of their CE solution, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver tailored enhancements. This role requires deep knowledge of CE modules and the ability to bridge functional and technical requirements.
What you will be responsible for:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and build strong partnerships based on trust and growth
- Analyse business processes and recommend improvements leveraging D365 CE capabilities
- Provide expert functional support for CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights)
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement customizations, integrations, and extensions
- Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and ensure timely resolution
- Deliver training and guidance to customers on CE best practices and new features.
- Assist in solution design for new requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver presentations or demos when needed.
Core Skills Required:
- Deep Functional Expertise in CE Modules – Sales, Customer Service and Customer Insights.
- Power Platform Proficiency – Customizing Power Apps, Power Pages, and building workflows and Power Automate flows.
- Technical Knowledge for Extensions – Understanding and ability to collaborate on JavaScript and C# plugins.
- Integration Skills – Setting up Dual Write, managing data flows, and resolving integration errors between CE and FO.
- CRM–FO Interaction Expertise – Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM and Finance & Operations interaction.
You might be a great fit if you have: (requirements)
- Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience as a D365 CE Functional Consultant with exposure to technical aspects.
- Strong understanding of CE ecosystem and related technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel while maintaining high quality and a positive mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience collaborating on Incident, Problem, and Change/Release Management.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a track record of managing large accounts.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of customer issues, and thrive in a multicultural environment across multiple time zones.
- Curious and eager to learn new technologies, investigate complex problems, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
