About the role:
The role will be part of the Finance department, where a team of experienced professionals from Romania and Denmark are always happy to help.
You'll be a great fit for our team if you bring:
- A degree in Accounting (preferred)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multinational company or Big4
- A mid-senior profile with hands-on experience in bookkeeping and working in finance environment
- Familiarity with accounting systems (ERP) - experience with D365 is a plus
- Excel skills is required
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Has strong planning and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality work
- Learns quickly and is eager to explore new tools and concepts
- Takes ownership and follows through on tasks
- Thrives in dynamic environments and brings a proactive mindset
Your responsibility will include:
- Bookkeeping and financial analysis across multiple markets: UK, US, Denmark, Romania, South Africa, India, and Sweden
- Accounts Payable: invoice posting, follow-ups, monthly accruals, payment proposals, and reporting (aging, reconciliation, etc.)
- Accounts Receivable – customer and intercompany invoicing, reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations and postings
- Expense reports management (Pleo)
- Timesheet follow-up
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed assets: creation and monthly depreciation
- Month-end closing: participation in meetings and ensure timely postings
- VAT reporting preparation
- Reconciliation of D365 with external data (country-specific)
- Year-end closing, documentation, reconciliations, and reporting
- Documentation of finance processes
- Audit support: preparation of documents and reports
- Ad hoc finance-related tasks
